This tool will allow you to measure the distance between a Child Safety Zone and another point. For the most accurate measurements, place the first point at the edge of the CSZ that is closest to the address you want to check. The second point should be placed at the edge of the property line that is closest to the CSZ. Right-click on a marker to delete it.
You can enter two addresses or click directly on the map for more accuracy. You can also drag each marker to a new location if you need to fine-tune your measurements. Click the circle button at the bottom left to center the map on your current location (you will need to grant permission when prompted).
Alternatively, you can place a marker and then enter a distance in feet to draw a circle around your marker which encompasses that distance.
NOTE: If you are checking distances inside Fort Worth city limits, use the city’s interactive Child Safety Zone Map instead of this tool. The city’s map does not measure distances, but it does provide a good visual indicator of the areas that are off-limits to you.
